You may notice a new look to camp this year. As our community continues to grow, so will our programming. Currently, Camp Big Sky offers the Adventure Camp for both the Pioneer and Explorer age groups. Our vision is to continue expanding the programming to meet the needs of Big Sky’s growing population by incorporating specialty camps for a variety of ages. If you would like to be a part of this development process by volunteering on the Camp Big Sky Committee, please contact for more information.

Pioneers Adventure Camp (previously called the Camp Big Sky Classic Camp): 1st through 3rd graders, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Explorers Adventure Camp (previously called the Camp Big Sky Adventurers Camp): 4th through 6th graders, Monday-Thursday, times vary per camp, typically 8:30am-12:30pm with an afternoon add-on option *7th & 8th graders are welcome, but will have leadership roles

After much trial and error, we have decided to discontinue the lunch program this summer. Camp Big Sky will provide daily morning and afternoon snacks. Please plan to pack a sack lunch accordingly, refrigeration is available if needed.

Richard Sandza is returning for his third summer at Camp Big Sky as the Camp Manager this year. As most of you know, Richard has an extensive camp background and is a favorite amongst the kids. We are thrilled to have him lead the day to day experience this year.

New to BSCO this summer as the Program Manager, Mackenzie Johnson will be overseeing camp and supporting Richard this summer as he transitions into his new role. Mackenzie also has a widespread camp and programming background starting both the Yellowstone Club and Spanish Peaks Mountain Club camp programs that exist still today. Mackenzie couldn’t be more excited to serve the local community and can’t wait to meet you and your family if she hasn’t already!
