Building connection, through recreation and programming, is at the heart of what we do at BSCO. We offer spaces where you, your family and everyone in Big Sky can come together – in our parks, on our trails and at BASE – for recreation, wellness and connection. None of which would be possible without our supporters like YOU, thank you!

2024 has been a year of growth and getting things done to support our community.

✔        Skatepark Expansion: Doubled the size of the existing skatepark, adding new beginner and intermediate features.

✔        New Maintenance Facility: Built a new facility that provides a heated space to store and maintain all equipment. The second story has two, three-bedroom apartments, which are fully occupied by BSCO staff.

✔        New Playground: This amazing ADA accessible adventure-based playground has three distinct areas, each serving different ages and abilities.

✔        New Trail – Huff’s Trek: A four-foot-wide, ADA accessible path connecting Town Center to the Resort creating a great way to hike or cycle up the mountain. This year, our trail counters recorded 18,600 users enjoying this new trail.

What’s next? As Big Sky continues to grow and evolve it is more important than ever to find creative ways to foster community in our resort town. BSCO’s vision is a healthy, connected, and thriving community and together, we can accomplish this goal.

Your gift comes with a bonus – 100% of the BSCO Board of Directors have committed to match donations up to $97,000! That means your dollars will go twice as far to create a brighter and healthier Big Sky future. Your investment will allow BSCO to:

  •  Expand Opportunities at BASE: New programming for all ages, more scholarship opportunities
  •  Preserve Your Parks & Trails: Programming at the Marty Pavelich Ice Rink, groomed trails for skiing, biking and snow-shoeing. Dogs welcome on BSCO trails!
  •  Increase Connection Opportunities: Whether you are a local family with kids in BSCO’s youth programs, a seasonal resident enjoying the snow, or a visitor to the area – there is a chance for you to feel a sense of belonging. From Veteran’s Day breakfast, to pickleball tournaments, to book clubs and guided hikes, there is something here for you.
