Hike Big Sky
Hike Big Sky is a free community hiking series hosted by Big Sky Community Organization, bringing people together to explore some of the area's favorite trails throughout the summer. Whether you're new to Big Sky or have been hiking these trails for years, everyone is welcome to join us! Hikes begin every Monday at 9:00 a.m., and participants are to meet at the trailhead, no registration required.
Please come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, sturdy hiking shoes, layers for changing mountain weather, and bear spray, which is strongly recommended on all hikes. Together, we'll explore the trails, connect with your Big Sky neighbors, and enjoy the trails that make Big Sky such a special place.
Host an Event in Big Sky
BSCO parks provide unique, scenic spaces for community gatherings, celebrations, and events of all sizes. Whether you’re planning a small gathering or a larger public event, our team can help guide you through the process to ensure your event is safe, successful, and aligned with community use.
To get started, reach out to Sara to confirm whether a BSCO-managed park or space is the right fit for your event. If it’s a good match, you’ll complete an event inquiry form to share details, needs, and logistics. All requests are reviewed by BSCO staff, and reservations are only confirmed once approved. Fees vary depending on the space, duration, and type of event, and help support the ongoing care of our parks.
Once approved, you’ll receive confirmation and can begin promoting your event.
