Hannah Turner, Malt Quality Lab Manager at MSU will discuss barley beer production with a focus on malt. Turner and the Barley Breeding team work with growers and maltsters around the state who provide barley for cows, grains, and beer.

Beehive Basin Trail

Join BSCO staff on this 6.6 mile round-trip hike with 1,500 feet elevation gain, majestic peaks, an alpine lake, rocky outcrops, and open meadows. Pack a lunch, and plan to spend about 4 hours on the trail. Meet at the Upper Beehive Basin Trailhead.
