Gallatin River Task Force will lead this 1.6 mile out and back hike focusing on water quality and how to be a steward of the Gallatin River watershed. Meet at Ousel Falls Trailhead.    

Skirt the Lee Metcalf Wilderness to the junction and back. Along this 6 mile round trip hike, learn about the evolution of the conservation movement, 1964 Wilderness Act and the history of Senator Lee Metcalf. Meet at the North Fork Trailhead.

Hannah Turner, Malt Quality Lab Manager at MSU will discuss barley beer production with a focus on malt. Turner and the Barley Breeding team work with growers and maltsters around the state who provide barley for cows, grains, and beer.

Join BSCO staff on this 6.6 mile round-trip hike with 1,500 feet elevation gain, majestic peaks, an alpine lake, rocky outcrops, and open meadows. Pack a lunch, and plan to spend about 4 hours on the trail. Meet at the Upper Beehive Basin Trailhead.
